Preview: Ghostbusters Funko Pop figures.

Ghostbusters!

Ghostbusters is a paranormal comedy movie released in 1984 that has gone on to create sequels, comics, toys, cartoon series and games. The original movie is well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters Funko are releasing a line of Ghostbusters figures for their Movies line, and Rides line.

First up we have Dr. Peter Venkman, he is a parapsychologist who like many in the real world, didn't believe in ghosts until he saw one.
The figure is obviously a Ghostbuster and seems to be wielding a
 proton Pack. I like him.

Dr. Raymond Stanz is an expert in paranormal history and mythology. He carries a ghost trap and what looks like a walkie talkie.
Can i just pause for a second to comment on how ridiculously named the walkie talkie is, it sounds like the inventer allowed his child to name it, anyway.
Ray also wears ecto goggles upon his head. He looks very cool.

Dr. Egon Spengler invented a lot of the Ghostbusters specialised equipment. He is seen here wearing his glasses, and holding a walkie talkie (to talk to ray?) and a P.K.E Meter which allows the Ghostbusters to track supernatural entities.
He is a cool figure and the team will look great together.

The Ghostbusters would get board without a ghost to bust, so here we have Slimer! Slimer looks absolutely fantastic and comes with a translucent base.

And the Big Bad Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, he looks adorable or um terrifying, perhaps both. He stands 6" tall so he will tower over the Ghostbusters. A great idea and a must for any Ghostbusters fan.

For those wondering where Winston Zeddemore is, worry no more, Winston comes with the ECTO-1 in the Rides line. The Ecto-1 looks very cool and i cant wait to get the whole line of these Ghostbusters.

Thoughts:
107 in the movies line seems to be missing, though it may be a Winston figure.
The Rides vechles are 1; Batmobile, 2; Delorian,  and i am not sure what 3 is, perhaps the turtles van?
These figures look awesome and i believe they will all make their way into my collection.

Available:

Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Raymond Stantz, Dr. Egon Spengler, Slimer, and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Available in April while we have to wait until May for Winston Zeddmore in the Ecto-1.
