News: SDCC 2014 exclusive 2nd announcement!

SDCC 2014 Exclusives:

These two are bobble heads but they are still cool.

Buffed up Buffy looks rather cool as well.

Three colorways of Barny and Fred, hmmm i like the old cartoon as a kid but ill skip these guys.

Now an invisible blood splatter Predator for the ReAction line is awesome! I wonder if the blood glows, that would be triple awesome?

Lost in Space Robot B9

B9

The Lost in Space Robot

The B9 robot from the Lost in space series.

The box for the Robot is cool, he is number 92 in the Funko vinyl Pop's Television line.

The Robot looks awesome and very show accurate.

He even has the chest details.

His clear head looks good and the bauble on top spins, but that's the only thing that moves, i have to call it no articulation.

Overall the figure is nicely sculpted and painted.

The legs are one piece there is no entry flap.

Here he is with another from my collection.

The biggest flaw and a huge issue i have with this figure is that it is not really a Funko pop figure.
Well it is officially, but it is not made of the same material or in the same way, it feels like a cheap knock off.
It feels like a hollow squeaky dog chew toy but is lacking the squeak!
Perhaps i am wrong and someone substituted a cheap knock off for my Pop collectable figure?

Who would win in a fight: Well it has to be Robby because he is built to the standards of a Funko Pop figure and B9 robot is not.

ReAction: Alien, Kane

Kane

Kane is part of the first line of the new Reaction figures from Funko and Super 7, they are 3 3/4 inch "Kenner" style figures with five points of articulation (the Alien has six).

The Nostromo space suit is very detailed and movie accurate.

The figure stands well and looks impressive.

"It looks like some kind of secreted resin." Yes i know but, well.

That entrance kind of reminds me of something...

Considering the scale of the figure he does look rather accurate.

"Hang on, i'm just going to put my face up to one of these creepy pulsating egg like canisters!"

I really like the space suit.

I would like to get a cheap plastic "playset" or simply a back drop for them to stand in front of.

 The crew reunion.

The suit is so detailed he really looks at home exploring another planet.

The helmet is clear and can be removed.

 The head sculpt is alright.

I think they did an awesome job modeling this figure.

The figure stands about 4" tall and only comes with his helmet.

He can hold the other figures accessory's.

ReAction news; The Rocketeer SDCC exclusive

The Rocketeer:

Funko just announced a SDCC exclusive Figure for the 2014 SDCC (San Diego comic convention).

Its the Rocketeer in black and white. That is rather cool, though the movie was in colour.
He would fit in with the Bif Bang Pow Twilight Zone figures.

Here he is with the Ghostbusters exclusives for 2014 SDCC.

News: SDCC 2014 exclusive Ghostbusters!

Ghostbusters:

Funko just released pictures of its Pop SDCC 2014 exclusives!

Here they are:

The glow in the dark Slimer looks incredible ethereal.

This version of the Stay Puft Marshmallow man also glows in the dark with supernatural power.

All the Ghostbuster together and they just got splattered with Stay Puft Marshmallow Man goo!

A metallic Slimer and a slimed Dr. Venkman look incredible.

 Something else:

Also as a bit of a bonus, though it has noting to do with SDCC, there is (was) a Hot Topic exclusive Toasted Marshmallow Man.
