Preview: Disney Frozen Figures

Frozen:

Funko are releasing a line of there vinyl Pop figures based on the Frozen movie.

Not having seen the movie, i will keep the commentary to a minimum.

 I like the ice crystal or snow flake thing in her hand.

He reminds me of Hickup from how to train your dragon.

 Creepy exuberant snowman, a Yule decoration anyone would love.

Now this figure is cool, i want one just to display as a representation of Cernunnos. He would also look cool beside Rudolf as a Yule decoration.

Opinion:

I am sure fans of the movie will love them all. for others some could make excellent Yule decorations, it just a pitty they were not released to coincide with Yule in Australia (20th-23rd June). Well they can be displayed next year.

News: More Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast 

Funko are adding some amazing characters to their Disney  Beauty and the Beast line.

Hes an animated clock, that in itself  is rather cool.

He is an animated candelabra (fancy name for a candle stick holder), the candles also seem to be animated as part of his body. Very cool.

 

Mrs. Potts the tea pot comes with the little chipped tea cup Chip. How absolutely adorable.

 Belle in peasant garb.

 I don't like getting more than one of the same character, at least Belle is a remold and not just a recolour.

 The Beast has been on my wish list for a long time.

72 Santa Jack Skellington, Disney

Santa Jack Skellington

Is from the stop motion movie The Nightmare Before christmas. The story is about Jack and his plans to celebrate Yule in Halloween town. This version is dressed in a Santa costume.

Santa Jack Skellington is the 72nd figure in the Funko vinyl pop Disney line.

 Despite his costume it is easy to see that this is really Jack Skellington.

 Jack has indented eyes mouth and nose. A different head sculpt to the first Jack Skellington.

He wears a Santa costume and carries a wrapped present. He is in the same pose as the first figure but it is mirrored, meaning his left arm is now doing what his right was in the first sculpt. 

This is not just a recolour but a new sculpt.

How cool would a pop reindeer and sleigh be?

Jack Skellington, Santa Jack Skellington and Day of the Dead Jack Skellington.

He makes a nice Xmas or Yule ornament and is a fine addition to any Funko pop collection.
