Preview: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

"Cowabunga dudes!"


The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles started off as a comic and became a popular cartoon, it spawned movies and live action series, games, toys and countless other merchandise.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe is linked with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers  franchise. 
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles follows the story of a group of mutated turtles that are tough  Ninjutsu by a humanoid rat, they live in the sewers and eat pizza, while fighting crime and villainy.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are part of the Funko pop vinyl figure Television line.


 

Donatello is named after the famous homosexual Italian sculptor Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi (Donatello for short). This humanoid turtle is the scientist, engineer and inventor of the group. In battle he uses a Bo (long staff) as his weapon.




 Raphael is named after Raffaello (Raphael) Sanzio da Urbino , who was an Italian painter and architect.
This guy is aggressive and hotheaded he launches into battle with his twin Sai (a trident like metal baton).





Michelangelo is named after the brilliant homosexual Italian architect, sculptor, poet, painter, poet, and engineer Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni. He is an easy going and friendly mutant, but will fight with his Nunchaku when necessary.




Leonardo is named after the famous homosexual Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci who was an Italian painter, writer , architect, musician, anatomist, engineer, inventor, geologist, mathematician , cartographer, botanist, sculptor and all round genius. Leonardo is the leader of the turtles and has mastered the duel katana in battle.




Splinter was ether the mutated pet rat of Ninjutsu master Hamato Yoshi, or Hamato himself who has been mutated into a rat-man. He is the Sensei of the turtles and wields a walking stick in battle.



The shredder is Ninjutsu master of the Foot clan. He is enemy of Splinter and the Turtles. He usually uses his armor blades in battle.

Opinion:

As the more recent movies were um, pretty forgettable, these figures are obviously aimed at the adult collector and just bleed nostalgia. The turtle are a little same same, but they always were. Splinter looks far-out awesome and Shredder looks adorable.
