06 White Walker GID Game of Thrones

"For the night is dark and full of ...glow?"

The White Walkers are a not-so mythological race from the Game of Thrones HBO television show. There motives were unclear, they came in the dark of the long winter, killing without remorse and reanimating the dead as zombies or wights. He is the 6th figure in the Game of Thrones Funko vinyl Pop! line. This figure is the hard to find HMV exclusive glow in the dark one.

The figure comes in the usual Funko pop box.

This sticker is the only difference between this figure and the normal White Walker box.

The figure is a reasonable likeness to the television character.

He has pupils in his blue eyes a nose and a mouth. Very unusual for a pop figure.

His hair is nicely done.

The spear is cool, but i would have liked the tip to be ice/crystal plastic, especially for the exclusive figure.

The White walker must work out when he inst raising an undead army.

Ever wondered what lies beneath a White Walkers kilt? Well in his defense he says it was very cold the day of the photo shoot.

It needs to be said that the only noticeable difference between this and the normal figure is that this ones skin glows in the dark.

This White Walker has raised his own undead army.

03 Holidays Rudolph the red nose reindeer Rudolph

The character Rudolph appeared in the claymation Yule film Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer back in 1964.
In the film Rudolph and his friends knockout the poor yeti named Bumble and forcibly remove all his teeth without anesthetic. This somehow tames the Bumble

The character of Rudolph was first published in 1939, but deer have been associated with Yule for far longer.
Yule is a religious festival observed by many historical pagan peoples, later being absorbed into the christian religion to aid conversion as Christmas. In most forms of Wicca, and many of the old religions Yule is celebrated at the winter solstice (Northern hemisphere: December 21 to 22, Southern hemisphere: June 20 to 21)  as the rebirth of the Great antlered god, who is often viewed as the newborn solstice sun.
The christians didn't really change much keeping a lot of pagan symbolism; The Antlered god (Reindeer), Pentagram (5 pointed star), Tree decorating, Gift giving, Santa Claus, Mistletoe, etc, etc from the original holy day of Yule.

Rudolph looks cute.

His body shape is interesting for a Pop figure.

His tail is adorable.
It seems Funko are using this general form for a lot of animal pops.

He has only just started to grow his antlers.

His nose is cool, but mine is poorly painted.

Not the kind of Santas that you would want to work for.

Here he is representing christmas with some other holiday pops, Jason and Michael.

Some xmes flavored pop figures. Bumble, Rudolph, Gremlin and Gizmo

Sick of pulling a heavy sleigh, Rudolph decides on a different mode of transportation, the Batmobile!

No matter what holidays or holydays you celebrate  lets all be good to one another, promote equality and appreciate each others differences.

01 Rides Batmobile

BATMAN & BATMOBILE

This figure and the car is based on the 1960s live action television series. Batman is well known for its campness of the possibly (closeted homosexual) duo batman and robin.

The front of the box

 The back of the box.

In the box you get a classic looking television series Batman and the Batmobile.

Here we see the steel looking pipes.

The bonet and front grill look awesome and kind of bat like.

Got to love the bat-rims.

Rocket exhaust!

The interior is spare, there is a steering wheel. The peg is for Batmans foot.

Batmans foot has a hole, other figures can sit in the car but do not have a hole in their foot.

Batman can leave the car and he looks just as good standing beside it as he does driving.

The figure is unmistakably Batman.

The paint and detail is good.

Cool bat-cape.

Unfortunately the god bat-symbol on the bat-buckle of the bat-utility belt is off center.

OPINION:
I think the rides line is going to be cool, i can think of a few id like to see, The Time Machine, and Herbie would be great. What vehicles would you like to see in the Pop  Rides line?

Arya Stark cant reach the breaks!

Captain Jack doesn't need the Black Pearl, but a Pop Black Peal would be cool.

Shelden cooper parked in the Batmobile, id like to see a Time Machine for the gang to sit in, and a Morlok.

Its the zombie apocolipse as if you wouldn't go for a drive in the Batmobile!

A video review:

12 Game of Thrones Renly Baratheon

                                           Renly Baratheon

Renly Baratheon is a handsome and charismatic man, he has many friends is kind, fair and enjoys tournaments. His lover is Loras Tyrell  Known as the Knight of Flowers.

Renly comes in edition two (wave two, season two) of the Game of Thrones Funko vinyl pop figures. He is number 12 in that line.

His figure is a good likeness but cannot portray how handsome the actor really is.

Renlys crown is a grouping of golden stag horns, very appropriate for a Baratheon king.

Unfortunately he is sporting his facial hair in this figure.

Renlys armor is quite nice, and painted well.

Renly is a good gay character and as being gay is a normal part of the range of human sexuality we really do need more gay characters in our media. Here we see he is just asking for equality with shelden cooper and Leonidas. I hope they bring out Loras in pop form soon.

A minor disagreement between Daenerys, Renly and Robb.
