Jay and Silent Bob

Jay
Jay is a charming drug dealing character, it would appear that he has repressed his homosexuality due to society's barbaric views on the nature of human sexuality, which makes the audience sympathetic towards him.
Silent Bob
Silent bob is Jays best friend since early childhood, he rarely speaks. He comes off as a bit homophobic which may be one of the reasons Jay is so deeply closeted.
