ReAction: Alien, Kane

Kane

Kane is part of the first line of the new Reaction figures from Funko and Super 7, they are 3 3/4 inch "Kenner" style figures with five points of articulation (the Alien has six).

The Nostromo space suit is very detailed and movie accurate.

The figure stands well and looks impressive.

"It looks like some kind of secreted resin." Yes i know but, well.

That entrance kind of reminds me of something...

Considering the scale of the figure he does look rather accurate.

"Hang on, i'm just going to put my face up to one of these creepy pulsating egg like canisters!"

I really like the space suit.

I would like to get a cheap plastic "playset" or simply a back drop for them to stand in front of.

 The crew reunion.

The suit is so detailed he really looks at home exploring another planet.

The helmet is clear and can be removed.

 The head sculpt is alright.

I think they did an awesome job modeling this figure.

The figure stands about 4" tall and only comes with his helmet.

He can hold the other figures accessory's.

ReAction News: Firefly

Firefly

Funko and Super 7 are releasing figures for the ReAction line based on the hit series Firefly.
The ReAction line creates
3 ¾” figures in a retro "Kenner" 5POA style.

Firefly is a space opra adventure series released in 2002 where the crew of the Serenity struggle to survive in the future of 2517.

Pilot of the Serenity, Hoban has a "Hawaiian shirt" so why couldn't (The Goonies) Chunk? He also has the most amazing accessory of any action figure ever, toy dinosaurs!

Jayne is a hired gun and he comes with two of them!

Ships mechanic and kind of a techno mystic savant, she looks pretty cool and i adore the accessory.

Owner of the Serenity, he has a golden gun.

Second in command of the serenity and wife of Hoban, she is not a person with whom to mess.

Opinion:
Firefly is a much loved franchise and i am sure these will do very well. With a few characters missing, and a Reaver or two, i am sure there will be a wave two.

ReAction News: Goonies

The Goonies

Funko and Super 7 are releasing figures for the ReAction line based on the movie The Goonies.
The ReAction line creates
3 ¾” figures in a retro "Kenner" 5POA style.

The Goonies is a action adventure  movie released in 1985 where a group of childhood friends seek out one eyed willy the pirates treasure.

Chunk looks pretty cool, i love the chocolate bar accessory, but maybe he could be a little plumper? Also interesting they went from a "Hawaiian shirt" to a black one, though at this scale it may have been to intricate a design.

I really like this figure and all the gadgets, the coat is an odd colour though.

A cool figure, if a little bland compared to some of the others. The accessory looks awesome.

This figure probably looks like the actor the most, its odd that the colours of the clothing are off from the picture, perhaps as they had to do it with Chunk they decided to do it with all of them so Chunk didn't look out of place...

Awesome to have a Sloth, i do hope the kids are short and Sloth is at least a full sized figure. From memory he towered above them. I love and adore that pirate hat!

Opinion:

I really like this line, though if the scale is wrong, Kids adult height or same size as Sloth i wont feel the same. I think part of the awesome of Reaction is that all these different licenses are in the same scale and style.

BifBangPow: Twilight Zone figures

Twilight Zone figures

BifBangPow in conjunction with ZICA Toys are producing a line of retro style

The Twilight Zone 3 3/4-inch retro action figures scheduled to ship in the Fall of 2014.

I think Fall means Autumn so that is April-May in the southern hemisphere, but i think BifBangPow mean to say that these will be released around September.

Here we have Bob Wilson played by (and a good likeness of) William Shatner, in the episode Nightmare at 20,000 feet.

The Gremlin is also from the episode Nightmare at 20,000 feet. It looks very true to the show.

Its the reader Henry Bemis from Time Enough at last! He even comes with a few books to help him pass the time.

The Invader from the episode aptly titled The Invaders looks awesome, though it does seem a little small.

The Kanamit alien from To Serve Man looks incredible but could possibly have been a little taller.

I love the fact Talky Tina from Living Doll is so small, its adorable.

More Information:

All these figures come in black and white but there may be some coloured limited edition exclusives available. These black and white figures are available for pre-order and you can learn more by going to the BifBangPow website.
