Zombie is the star of the computer game Plants Vs Zombies. He is an ordinary zombie, one of many who are simply attempting to cross the lawn in order to get into the house and eat the occupants brains. On his way he must deal with the tower defense like garden plants. Its a hard life being a hungry zombie.

 01 Zombie

Zombie is the first in the Plants Vs Zombies line of Funko pop vinyl figures.

Zombie is looking pretty accurate to his computer rendered design. He has greyish green skin and a torn up suit and tie. He is quite a well dressed zombie.

His amount of detail is rather good. I particularly like the leg visible due to the torn pants. The hands are nice and add to his cute zombie goodness.

 

Here zombie smiles for the camera. His mouth is very well done with broken teeth and that cheesy smile. His eyes are white and even have pupils, in a departure from Funko tradition. He also has both a nose and a mouth making him a very lucky zombie pop indeed.

Zombie will be the prized possession of any fan of Plants Vs Zombies or zombies in general for that matter. He is going to look dashing when combined with the walking dead zombies and the upcoming Army of Darkness deadites.

Here Zombie is causing more consternation for our poor White Walker. The White Walker is from the Game of Thrones line.

SPOILER WARNING: Though i will do my best to avoid any major spoilers, there may be a few minor ones for those who have not seen the TV series. If Spoilers do occur you will see this warning and they will only be mentioned if the figure itself demands it.  

 

So my second Funko Vinyl Pop! Figure is Edition One 02 Ned Stark from the Game of Thrones line. 

Based on the George R.R. Martin book series, A Song of Ice and Fire, and made more popular by the HBO TV series, A Game of Thrones follows a collection of noble houses as they bicker for power and wealth in a fantasy medieval world.

Eddard "Ned" Stark is the lord of Winterfell and the head of the Stark House, house Stark rules many lesser houses of the north lands.

The box is nice with pictures of the figure, though interestingly the box art may depict an earlier design as the hairline is very different.

Ned makes an imposingly cute little warrior. He has an adorable mustache and beard around where his mouth should be. The detail on the sword badge and clothing are all equally impressive.

Welcome to my blog, here i will discuss and show off various Funko pop figures.

I will show news and reviews.

What is a Funko Pop?

Funko pop vinyl are little window boxed figures that stand 3.75 inches tall. They are low cost designer toys aimed at the collector. These figures have a very "Kawaii" or stylised cutesy look to them.

The Funko pop vinyl range has a lot of licences, you can find superheros from Batman and Wonder Woman to the Avengers. They have characters from the Yule movie Gremlins to the hilarious Beetlejuice. 
You could easily stand Sandy from Grease beside Freddy from Friday the 13th on your shelf. The amazing Shelden cooper gets a few different variations but you can get the Simpsons or Game of Thrones if that's more your style. 
There are a large variety of musician figures from Sid Vicious to Tupac. 
A must have for me is the Captain Jack Sparrow, though there are a lot of Disney characters to choose from. You might like The Master Chief or any one of the many NBA player figures. 

In short whatever your interest there is probably a Vinyl Funko Pop figure to fill the slot.

But that isn't all, i will try to devote most of this site to Vinyl pop but i might drop the odd bit of news or anything else i find interesting.
