Preview: Daryl Dixon 9"

9" Daryl Dixon

Daryl Dixon is a popular character from The Walking Dead television program.
He has a funko pop figure released already for the television walking dead line.
However this figure is notable due to his size, measuring in at an impressive 9 inches Daryl is sure to fill that hole in your collection.

I really like the figure so if you have a tight space that need filling on your shelf, why not squeeze nine inches of Daryl Dixon in?

Preview: The Walking Dead: series 3

Starting with series 1 and continuing with series 2 we have seen some amazing figures in the walking dead universe. They are part of the Television line.
Can Funko continue to bring it on an apocalyptic scale?

Number 66 is The Governor with his eye patch. He looks good, and is easily recognisable.

I am not the biggest fan of this one, with all the great characters and zombies to choose from, i just don't feel i needed another Rick.

Arrrrgh this is more like it a nice zombie to add to the horde.

Merle looks fine, i really like his blade hand. I am sure Daryl will be happy to see him.

Release date:

These figures break out of the prison on 11th July 2013

I am not sure if this concept art is for this exclusive figure but it would make sense.

Opinion:

Most of these figures look very cool, though for me it will be a choice between the normal or exclusive version of a character, i don't need three governors or multiple Ricks.

14 Daryl Dixon

"Got bit.

Fever hit.

World gone to shit.

Might as well quit."

Daryl Dixon

Daryl Dixon is a character in The Walking Dead television show. He is an original character that did not appear in the comics. Initially short tempered and closed minded he, unlike his brother Merle was able to out grow his red-neck bigotry and become a valuable member of the group. In fact he is among the most sane.

 14 Daryl Dixon

Daryl Dixon is the 14th figure in the Television line of Funko vinyl pop figures, he is the 2nd in The Walking Dead sub group.

On The Walking Dead television series, Daryl Dixon is played by  Norman Reedus.

The figure is cool, and while the resemblance to his Pop version may not be uncanny, it is the details that let you know who this figure represents.

The figure wears Daryl's clothing, his rugged vest and... wait is that a red handkerchief in his back right pocket? Ill just look up the Hanky Code and oh my! Daryl who knew?  Oh well whatever floats your boat.

Daryl carries his signature weapon, the crossbow. The weapon looks good.

As long as he is surrounded by zombies, it shouldn't be too hard to work out who this pop figure is.

Here Daryl decides it would be too embarrassing for him to be killed by a Plants Vs Zombies Conehead Zombie.

Exclusives / Variants:

There is a blood splattered version of Daryl Dixon exclusive to Harrison's Comics.  These figures are limited to 3,000 pieces. Look for blood splattered box art.
