Prison Yard Rick Grimes

Edition or wave three of The Walking Dead Funko television pops number is Prison Yard Rick Grimes.

This particular figure is the Blood Splatter version.

The figure is a reasonable likeness. 

He has a pistol in his holster.

The blood mostly covers his face with a little on his front.

He has picked up a watch along the way.

His knife does look rather cool all bloody.

 Ricks head has grown larger for this figure, and he has more facial hair. He is missing his hat as he has given it to Carl. 
This is an alright figure, though i didn't really need another Rick.

First up is Rick Grimes blood spatter. This figure could easily fill in as a zombie rick for my collection.

Another prison guard, but this one has blood splatter, i got no problems with that.

Preview: The Walking Dead: series 3

Starting with series 1 and continuing with series 2 we have seen some amazing figures in the walking dead universe. They are part of the Television line.
Can Funko continue to bring it on an apocalyptic scale?

Number 66 is The Governor with his eye patch. He looks good, and is easily recognisable.

 

 

 

I am not the biggest fan of this one, with all the great characters and zombies to choose from, i just don't feel i needed another Rick.

         Arrrrgh this is more like it a nice zombie to add to the horde.

Merle looks fine, i really like his blade hand. I am sure Daryl will be happy to see him.

As much as im not a fan of duplicate characters, this guy is pretty cool and can always hide at the back of the hoard if Merle is still living.

 Again this guy is tempting as he isn't just a re-colour but i might give him a miss.

I am not sure if this concept art is for this exclusive figure but it would make sense.

Opinion:

Most of these figures look very cool, though for me it will be a choice between the normal or exclusive version of a character, i don't need three governors or multiple Ricks.

The Walking Dead is a Television series set around an insane group that has survived the zombie apocalypse.

These figures are part of the Funko pop vinyl Television range.

Verdict:

I like the first wave of figures. They represent the characters well and zombies are always a pleasue to add to my collection.

Best figure:  Daryl Dixon
Least figure:  RV Zombie


Reasons:
Daryl just looks cool, and is looking more handsome the more the show goes on.
RV Zombie is cool, however he does look a little silly with that screwdriver sticking out his head, now if it were removable?

The One That Got Away:

I believe there may be a bloody variant of Daryl and Rick, but i am not really interested. while i jumped at the bloody zombies, i dont feel i need a duplicate "character" figure.

16 Bicycle Girl

"Feeeeet"

Bicycle Girl is a Zombie from The Walking Dead Television series. 

She appeared alive as Hannah in The Walking Dead Webisodes Torn Apart.

Bicycle Girl is the 16th figure in the Funko pop Television line.

She appears as a much cuter version of her television self.

She is the smallest Funko pop figure i have seen. She drags her spine along the ground as she did in the show.

Her eyes look half closed and her teeth are quite intact, ready to bite the ankles and toes of the living.

Her hair is done very well and looks like it is falling out and scraggly.

She looks rotten and horrific despite her Funko style.

She may be half a zombie but she is the clawing biting half!
