ReAction Alien Ripley

 Ripley

Ellen Louise Ripley was one of the first real horror movie female heroines she is the lead character in the alien movie, if we dont count the alien itself.

The retro blister card packaging from the Funko and Super 7 ReAction Ripley figure in the Alien line.

These are retro adult collectables not toys.

Ripley has five points of articulation and looks like a decent figure.

The face on my figure is alright but the eyes are painted poorly, it looks like she is rolling her eyes or is going cross eyed, very derpy. There is also a section of hair painted in skin tones, though the hair is molded excellently.

Its a decent enough likeness.

She stands almost 4 inches tall.

I like the Ripley mold, its good to see a non exaggerated female body.

Her uniform is very nicely detailed.

She is feminine without being ludicrous.

I really like the shoes, you can see the laces and all.

She comes with one accessory a flamethrower, that fits in her right hand nicely.

Ripley looks good with the Alien.

Look behind you Ripley!

She had the strange sensation she was being followed.

Aliens going to take Ripley home to meet mummy.

ReAction Alien

Alien

Funko and Super 7 have used to unreleased  1979 prototypes to make these awesome 5-point articulation figures.

The figures come on authentic style blister packaging.

The Alien actually has 6 points of articulation, legs, arms head and tail.

The torso and body are very nicely detailed.

The figure really does look retro while still looking amazing.

The Alien tail can spin where it joins the body.

The Alien hands are well sculpted and have 6 digits.

The pipes and spines of the back are very well done.

The feet are not as detailed as they perhaps could be, but the figure stands very well.

Instructions for the play features are on the back of the card.

This is the semi-translucent head dome.

Without the dome you can see the glowing apps and the secondary mouth switch.

Instructions for the Glow in The Dark features are on the back of the card.

The Head of this beast is kind of amazing.

The Alien with the dome in place and the Secondary mouth extended. While a cool feature it should be noted that the inner mouth looks like a featureless thin white tongue.

There are 5 in the Alien line and i think there was an exclusive clear Alien figure.

I like the Alien logo. The whole package is retro and cool.

Alien ReAction in front of his movie counterpart.

 Alien with hieroglyphs.

 Alien in the hanger!

 In the vents!

Alien on the planets surface.

I have to say that this is an awesome figure and i cant wait to open the others in this line.

00 Freddy Funko

Bow ties are cool

 Freddy Funko

Freddy Funko is the mascot of the Funko company. Funko make some amazing Vinyl figures. They seem to manage to get a large number of the best licenses. Freddy Funko has been dressed up an released as many different characters including; Beetlejuice, Bumble, Count Chocula, Frankenberry, and Freddy Krueger among others.
The one i have is simply Funko Freddy or Funko Freddy with Pop sign.

This Freddy Funko was available as an 2012 San Diego Comic Con exclusive during there Funko fun days, or as part of the Funko Funklub membership.
This colour version of Freddy Funko has a gold crown and blue bow tie, i believe it is limited to 500 pieces.

Freddy wears a metallic golden coloured crown. His white shirt looks dirty, i am not sure if this is intentional wear or a paint issue.

The figure itself is kind of cool. He has red hair and freckles. His hands are holding a flat pop! sign, he appears harmless and innocent. His boots are nice, with black shine.

Here he is with all my other Funko pops, he gathered them all together for a meeting, but to what end? Do those fey black eyes hide sinister motives? Only time will tell...

06 White Walker

"In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time"

White Walker

The White Walkers are a not-so mythological race from the Game of Thrones HBO television show. There motives were unclear, they came in the dark of the long winter, killing without remorse and reanimating the dead as zombies or wights. He is the 6th figure in the Game of Thrones Funko vinyl Pop! line.

The packaging is window boxed and shows the white Walker in all his chilly glory. for a look at the GID exclusive click here.

The White Walkers eyes are different from the usual Funko pop figure, being blue with a black pupil as opposed to just black. The figure is also notable for having both a nose and a mouth, most pops seem to have one or the other. His nose is also not the usual pop nose.
His chest is finely detailed and looks gauntly muscled. He carries a spear, but it unfortunately does not have an ice tip.

The White Walker approaches the human camp, he pauses raises his spear and whispers the eldrich words. The snow moves around him, slowly the corpses of the frozen dead emerge from there icy graves. A human notices the movement, but too late, the White walker commands his newly risen undead troop forward.
Laughter rings through the night, the humans point and stare. The White walker looks on confused as the humans jeer and do a little dance. His ancient blue eyes turn back upon his troops, he sees the reason for the humans mirth. His fearsome wight soldiers are shuffling forward, but seem to be doing some kind of choreographed dance routine as they do. The White walker shakes his head and walks slowly back into the snow, his icy zombie army doing a two-step shuffle behind him.
