01 Tyrion Lannister, Scarface, Game of Thrones

Tyrion

This review needs a complete spoiler alert unless your up to date with Game of Thrones.

This figure appears to be the same mold as the original series one Tyrion, it has different paint work though.

The box is the same, but this figure is an Australian Popculture exclusive.

 Same, Same.

The figure is obvioulsy Tyrion and the scar is evident.

Again the sculpt is the same, my figure is badly scuffed up and in addition to the paint apps looks like he has been in a battle.

Tyrion has a black eye.

He has the painted on scar of course. See the damaged nose and poop marks, im not sure if they are meant to be there.

He wears the same clothing, but it is coloured differently.

Here he is side by side with season one Tyrion.

Size comparison with Bicycle Girl and leonidas.

Here he is with the other Game of Thrones Exclusives. Headless Ned and GID White Walker.

Tyrion cant reach the accelerator.

 Ned is a little delusional.

Game of Thrones Series 3

Game of Thrones

Series 3

This post will probably have spoilers so if your not up to date not look. For a look at series 1 and series 2 click those links.

Brienne of Tarth

She is alright, a decent addition to the GoT lineup.

Joffrey Baratheon

It had to be done, and he is holding his crossbow, ewwww!

Hodor

I like Hodor, i just hope he towers over the other pops.

Drogon

Drogons first appearance on a Funko pop figure was here. He looks awesome, and i hope we get his kin.

Tywin

Tywin? Really? Ok well he looks fine, odd choice but hes fine.

Ygritte

Right i actually had to look up who this was, a very odd choice when there's so many other characters to pop.

Ghost

Ghost is Jon Snows Dire wolf. I suppose that means we will see a lot of re-colors of this figure, but still its cool.

Tyrion Lannister In Battle Armor

Hmmmm a duplicate figurine, i Already have a Tyrion, as a fan of the show i know there are other characters they could pop. I think this should have been released as an "exclusive" as it looks cool but is redundant.

Daenerys Targaryen

Speaking of duplicate characters, i like Daenerys as much as the next guy, but i could do without another figure of her. yes even if this one can stand up.

Opinion:

All well and good but where is  Loras Tyrell? There is still hope with some gaps between the numbers of anounced figures.

 Available

14th January 2014

Tyrion Lannister

This is an australian Popculture exclusive figure.

11 Game of Thrones Cersei Lannister

Cersei Lannister

Edition two (wave 2) of the Funko vinyl pop Game of Thrones figures brings us Cersei. For Edition one go here.

Cersei is the 11th figure in this line.

She comes in the usual Game of Thrones Funko pop window box.

She looks cool, and suitably unimpressed.

Her hair is also quite nice.

She has girly eyelashes.

A gold medallion.

Gold rings on her fingers that are neatly painted.

Her dress forms her base and alleviates the top heaviness.

Here is Cersei with her brother Jaime.

Here she is hanging out with the girls of  Game of Thrones. Arya and Daenerys.

A candid Lannister moment.

10 Game of Thrones Jaime Lannister

Jaime Lannister

Jaime Lannister is the 10th figure released for the Game of Thrones Funko Pop vinyl line. He is a part of Edition 2 or wave two.

Edition one can be found on this link.

Jaime comes in the usual Game of Thrones Funko window box.

Jaime looks cool in his gold armor and holding his sword.

His cloak also looks damn fine.

He has is a reasonable representation of  his character.

His sword is a lot better painted than Needle.

The detail on the armor is very impressive.

Here he is with his brother Tyrion and sister Cersei.

And i am so proud because i made it through this without mentioning the thing.

Game of thrones Series 2

Like winter, they are coming

A game of thrones is an amazing television show.

The Pop1 figures from the show are a huge success.

Now we can have a closer look at wave two of these figures.

For a look at series one click here.  Click on the characters name for a review of that figure.

Here we have Jon Snow the bastard of house Stark. He is looking quite fetching in the black.

Next in line is Rob Stark but will he be next in line for the Iron Throne or will he become King in the North. The figure is a good representation of the on screen character.

Arya Stark is looking very cool and Needle looks awesome.

Try not to cringe as we see Jaime Lannister  in his fine metallic gold armor.

Here is Cersei Lannister looking unimpressed. I really think she should have a wine goblet in hand.

Renly Baratheon one of the fan favorites. He looks awesome with his golden stag crown. We can only hope that Loras Tyrell will be in the next series.

Opinion:

This entire range of figures is looking awesome. I do hope that any exclusives are not quite as (almost) impossible to get as the GITD White Walker.

These figures are available April 11th!
