Merle Dixon walker version. 

 Merle Dixon is number 71 in the Walking Dead, Television line of Funko vinyl pop figures.

 He looks like a zombie version of Merle Dixon.

The mouth area still looks strange despite the added blood.

The added blood is cool and this is a nice figure.

Merle dead and living, before and after if you will.

 Season Three Spoilers! 

Merle Dixon racist brother of the crowd favorite Daryl Dixon. He eventually fought his evil ways to do some good.

Merle Dixon is number 69  in wave 3 of the Funko vinyl Pop! The Walking Dead Television figure line.

 All up the figure is pretty cool, and a decent representation.

Just based on the head i would not be able to identify who this figure was.

Merle has a weird mark on his face, i assume its facial hair but it looks kind of odd without a mouth. I like the lines under his eyes.

His hair is kind of cool, i like how its done.

This is how i would be able to identify him, it looks awesome.
 

He also has a pistol in his belt holster.

The Governor, The Walking Dead figure

The Governor

The Governor is number 70 in The Walking Dead, Television line of Funko's Pop! vinyl figures.

This is the bandage version.

The figure looks good and is a decent representation of the character in chibi form.

I had a difficult time choosing the variant i wanted, but i eventually chose the bandaged one, i am still not entirely sure i made the right decision.

 He has a pistol in his holster on his belt. I am no "gun nut" but it seems to me the gun is around the wrong way.

I do like his weapon, a nice shinny blade, its lack of blood seems to be like a reflection of the character as a whole. Though perhaps i am reading too much into that.

There is a previews exclusive blood splatter bandage variant of this figure.

Number 66 of this wave is also an eye patch variant of this figure.

Preview: The Walking Dead: series 3

Starting with series 1 and continuing with series 2 we have seen some amazing figures in the walking dead universe. They are part of the Television line.
Can Funko continue to bring it on an apocalyptic scale?

Number 66 is The Governor with his eye patch. He looks good, and is easily recognisable.

 

 

 

I am not the biggest fan of this one, with all the great characters and zombies to choose from, i just don't feel i needed another Rick.

         Arrrrgh this is more like it a nice zombie to add to the horde.

Merle looks fine, i really like his blade hand. I am sure Daryl will be happy to see him.

Opinion:

Most of these figures look very cool, though for me it will be a choice between the normal or exclusive version of a character, i don't need three governors or multiple Ricks.
