Beetlejuice Movies Funko Pop figure.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!

The star of Beetlejuice a 1996 movie that is truly awesome.

Beetlejuice is the 5th in the Funko Pop vinyl Movies line of figures.

He looks like he does in the movie.

He has a big grin and green ectoplasm on his face.

His green hair is spiked and very cool.

He wears the striped suit to show he is a professional bio-exorcist and not some fly-by-night operator.

He fits in well with the other movie pop figures, here we have Jason and Hannibal.

Note that the eyes on the packaging are different to the eyes on my figure. This is common as most Beetlejuice figures have the black eyes.

A "chase" figure is out there with box accurate eyes and is being sold for a ridiculous amount by evil ebay flippers. Unless you find one in the wild (for a standard pop price), i would pass on this variant.
The chances of me, in rural Australia finding a pop in the wild let alone a chase are extremely small, the one store that has just got pop figures in has a very small selection and i am sure any stickered pops would be off the shelves quite quickly.

15 Jack Skellington, Disney

Jack Skellington

Is from the stop motion movie The Nightmare Before christmas. The story is about Jack and his plans to celebrate Yule in Halloween town.

Jack Skellington is the 15th figure in the Funko vinyl pop Disney line.

Its  easy to recognise who this figure represents.

He has a nice molded smile, though its different to the one on the box. His eyes are indented and he has holes for a nose.

He looks quite dapper in his striped suit.

The "frayed" tail looks cool.

The collar is a nice touch.

Do we want a Halloween mobile for him to drive, yes i think we do.

The perfect gift for an undead fan.

 About the holidays:

christmas is a christian holiday believed to have been incorporated into the christian calender to help convert the pagans, it is heavily based on Yule, the pagan holy celebration of the winter solstice. Yule is celebrated 21 or 22 December in the northern hemisphere and 21 June in the southern hemisphere.

Halloween or Samhain is a seasonal religious holy day celebrated on the 30th of April–1st of May in the Southern Hemisphere, and as it is a seasonal festival it is celebrated on the 31st of October –1st of November in the northern hemisphere.
At Samhain the veil between this world and the spiritual world is very thin, as such it is a time to communicate, honor and pay respect to those who have died.

Sheldon Cooper, Television, Big Bang Theory

Sheldon Cooper

Sheldon Cooper is played by Jim Parsons on the very funny Big Bang Theory television program.

Number 11 in the Television line of Funko vinyl pop figures.

This version is a SDCC exclusive and is limited to 1000 pieces.

A cool little bio is on the back of the box.

Sheldon looks cool, its good to have a "normal" human figure.

While not as cute as the actor Jim, this figure is adorable in its Funko way.

This is the Hawkman shirt variant.

Every person deserves equality.
leonidas, Renly, Batman, Master Chief, Jon,

I would like a Time Machine for Sheldon to sit in, though i think all Rides vehicles should come with unique figures.

01 Sci-fi Mars Attacks, Martian

Martian

This is Martian from the Mars Attacks trading cards.

The Figure is number 1 of the Sci-Fi line and as of now is the only figure in that line.

The figure is based on the 1962 Topps Mars Attacks trading cards, and not the 1996 Mars Attacks movie. Though the movie was based on the cards.

The figure has a very retro feel and is obviously a martian.

The head comes in a plastic dome helmet, that protects the Martian from human germs.

The head is molded very well, this is a close up of the back of the Martians head.

Gas tanks on the Martians back, allow it to breath on our filthy planet. Mine was some paint scuffing unfortunately.

He holds an awesome futuristic laser pistol.

How our perceptions of Aliens have changed.

Here the Martian drives the Rides Batmobile, we really need a Rides Martian Saucer.

Variants:

GID Martian

2012 SDCC glow in the dark Martian limited to 480 figures.

Metallic Martian

2012 SDCC Metallic Martian, I can not find how many this figure is limited too, if you know please comment.

Preview: Army of Darkness

Army of Darkness

3rd in the Evil Dead franchise, Army of Darkness was released in 1992. These are classic movies and if you havent seen them go watch them right now. Be aware there was a cheap remake made recently, the originals were; The Evil Dead (1981), Evil Dead II (1987), and Army of Darkness (1992).

 Ash

Ash Williams our human hero, with a chainsaw for a hand and a boomstick (shotgun) in his other hand. He is an undead killing machine! His figure looks amazing, a must buy.Is he showing nipple? Do pop figures have nipples?

 Deadite
The Deadites are undead soldiers risen from the grave to make Ash's life difficult.
This figure is cool and would look quite at home in any undead pop army.
